Airways London Eye A series of over 350 images showing the early development of the London Eye to the opening on New Year's Eve 1999/2000. It is the largest observation wheel in the world standing at 135 metres tall, weighing some 1,500 tonnes and can hold up to 800 people at any one time. The London Eye has proven to be one of the biggest attractions in the UK today. |
